The Nautilus Maldives is preparing to launch its 2025 festive season with Nomadic Journeys, an experience rooted in spontaneity and self-expression. Running from 21 December 2025 through 6 January 2026, the celebration invites guests to immerse themselves in an atmosphere where structure gives way to soul, and tradition meets creativity on the private island’s serene shores.
Guided by the resort’s core philosophy of boundless freedom and individuality, Nomadic Journeys transforms The Nautilus into a bohemian-inspired haven designed for dreamers and explorers alike. Lanterns sway in the ocean breeze, live artistry ignites imagination, and every moment fosters deep, personal connection.
The festive lineup features an array of curated experiences centered on art, music, movement, and culinary discovery. Highlights include the Christmas Boho Soirée and a Beachside New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, both featuring a fusion of global flavors, captivating performances, and music beneath the stars. The Art of Bohemia segment introduces guests to traditional Maldivian Boduberu rhythms, artistic mixology, and live painting sessions paying tribute to local craftsmanship.
Wellness and mindfulness are woven throughout the holiday, with daily sunrise yoga offerings such as The First Flow and Stillness in Motion, designed to sync body and mind with the natural rhythm of the sea. Bespoke wellness journeys, including crystal bowl meditations, spa rituals like The Radiance of the Dunes, and symbolic fire ceremonies such as Fireside Release, offer deep relaxation and renewal.
Dining plays a central role in Nomadic Journeys, with a diverse culinary programme led by Executive Chef Christopher Terry and his team of acclaimed chefs. Guests can indulge in unique experiences like Chef’s Table by the Sea, Flavours of the Levant, and the luxurious Dom Pérignon Seafood Degustation at Zeytoun, blending global culinary influences with island flair.
Families are equally catered for, with activities such as family yoga sessions, shared spa rituals, and a heartwarming visit from The Wanderer in Red—Santa Claus. Live music and hands-on creative workshops ensure guests of all ages can contribute to and shape their own holiday narratives.
The island-wide celebration embraces an eclectic spirit, blending cultural elements from across the globe while honoring Maldivian heritage. From Silk Road-inspired décor to local craft workshops, The Nautilus becomes a tapestry of global expression and personal meaning.
“This festive season is not a schedule. It’s a journey—a soulful escape crafted for those who dare to wander,” said Adan Gomez, General Manager of The Nautilus. “Here, guests are invited to explore, create, and simply be, in a place where every moment feels spontaneous, meaningful, and unforgettable.”
