Kuramathi Maldives has teamed up with Campioni Soccer Academy to create an unforgettable summer experience in 2025, combining elite football training for children with a luxurious family getaway. Set against the island’s breathtaking turquoise waters and lush tropical landscape, the camps will offer young players aged 4–15 the chance to train under the guidance of Premier League legends John Barnes MBE and Stuart Pearce MBE, alongside UEFA coach Adrian Whitbread. Scheduled across two weeks, the first session will run from July 28 to August 1, led by Barnes and Whitbread, while the second, from August 4 to August 8, will feature Barnes joined by Pearce, providing a rare opportunity for kids to sharpen their skills with football icons while families enjoy a dream holiday. Embracing Campioni’s “Train Like A Pro” ethos, the camps will include two hours of daily coaching, blending technical drills, gameplay, and personal mentorship to foster teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship in a supportive, fun environment. Parents can unwind at Kuramathi’s spa, gym, or pristine beaches, or cheer from pitch-side as their children train. The experience extends beyond the field, with families invited to a welcome drinks event, a mid-week parents’ game alongside the pros, and a closing ceremony featuring medals and certificates. Kuramathi, a renowned 1.8km island resort, offers a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, with beach and overwater villas, 12 dining options, a dive center, watersports, and evening entertainment. The Bageecha Kids Club, catering to ages 3–12, provides splash pads, a pool, and eco-conscious activities like marine life presentations, hermit crab trails, and tree planting, with extended evening care and babysitting ensuring a seamless vacation. In partnership with Visit Maldives, Kuramathi and Campioni are offering one lucky family a 5-night all-inclusive stay for four at Kuramathi, including a spot at the 2025 Campioni Soccer Academy, where the winner will train with Barnes, Pearce, and Whitbread. To enter, families with children aged 4–15 must follow @visitmaldives, @kuramathiisland, and @campioniacademy on Instagram, like and save the giveaway post, tag three friends, and share the post using hashtags #CampioniAtKuramathi and #VisitMaldives, with full terms available on Instagram. The partnership also includes a community initiative, Campioni for Local Children, a one-off event for young athletes from nearby islands. This special Meet & Train session will feature Barnes and Whitbread, offering a Q&A, autographs, photos, and a 45-minute training session filled with drills to inspire and create lasting memories. This collaboration highlights Kuramathi’s commitment to delivering exceptional family experiences while empowering young footballers in a tropical paradise.
