JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa invited guests to indulge in an exclusive culinary event featuring Chef Dmitrii Eremeev from the renowned Maison Dellos Group, founded by celebrated restaurateur and gastronomist Andrey Dellos. This exceptional three-day culinary experience began on March 22 and offered guests the chance to savor Chef Dmitrii’s signature dishes that blended Pan-Asian and Classic European flavors, reflecting the brand’s commitment to enriching guest journeys through immersive gastronomic experiences.


Chef Dmitrii, originally from Baku, Azerbaijan, began his illustrious career at the legendary restaurant "Yar." He joined Maison Dellos in 2000 and quickly rose to the position of sous-chef under Andrey Makhov, eventually becoming the Head Chef in 2008. His impressive credentials included representing Azerbaijan at the international gastronomic festival in Cannes in 2016 and launching the healthy food direction, Dellos Diet, at Turandot. Chef Eremeev also had extensive experience in VIP catering, having served high-ranking officials and participated in major international events such as the 2017 Confederations Cup, the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.


Chef Eremeev was celebrated for his bold yet refined culinary style, which married traditional recipes with modern techniques. Guests could expect a harmonious fusion of flavors, from seafood infused with Asian aromatics to rich, slow-cooked meats showcasing European finesse.


The culinary journey kicked off on March 22, 2025, with "A Symphony of Wine & Flavors" at the Wine Room, located in the heart of Aailaa. Guests enjoyed a four-course dinner paired with exquisite wines from a collection of over 300 labels. Highlights included crispy chicken with watermelon and soy sprouts, octopus in black pepper sauce, and Chef Dmitrii’s signature honey cake with blackcurrant sorbet. Throughout the evening, Chef Dmitrii shared insights into the history of the Maison Dellos gastronomic house.


On March 24, the "Culinary Voyage at RIHA" allowed six guests to partake in a unique culinary experience around a sunken outdoor Tandoor & Tawa, surrounded by nature and tiki torches. There, Chef Dmitrii, along with the resort’s Chef Rohit, showcased live-fire cooking techniques that celebrated the flavors of India and other Asian cuisines.


The event culminated on March 26 with "The Essence of Japan" at Hashi/Shio, where Chef Dmitrii presented a five-course menu inspired by Japanese cuisine. Guests enjoyed a refined cold appetizer of crab with black caviar and ginger sauce, followed by a hot lamb loin and baked leeks, showcasing the chef's modern interpretation of traditional dishes.
