Exclusive Industry Exposure Trip Enhances Understanding of Resort Operations

Students from the Qasim Ibrahim School of Business visited Sun Siyam Olhuveli Maldives on February 21 for an exclusive exposure trip, designed to provide them with valuable insights into the dynamic hospitality industry. This initiative aimed to deepen their understanding of resort operations and equip them with practical knowledge essential for their future careers.


During the visit, students participated in a comprehensive tour of Sun Siyam Olhuveli, where they observed various departments in action, including front office operations, food and beverage management, housekeeping, and guest relations. The students also engaged in interactive sessions with industry experts from the resort, who shared their insights on evolving trends, challenges, and best practices in the hospitality sector.


Ahmed Shazeen, the Director of Human Resources at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming the future leaders of the hospitality industry.
