InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort has revealed its line-up of experiences and headline performers for Seachella 2.0 - The Island Festival, scheduled for Easter 2026. Following the success of the inaugural edition in 2025, the event will return on Saturday 4 April 2026, featuring festival-style food and beverage stalls such as an Oyster Bar and Champagne Trolley, alongside DJ performances, Easter-themed tasting menus, sound healing sessions, an Easter egg hunt and additional activities, all set within Maamunagau Island.
Younger guests will have access to activities at the resort’s Planet Trekkers kids club, including face-painting, beach movie nights, treasure bottle hunts and Easter-themed art sessions. In the evening, guests will gather for the grand finale, where Ashley Roberts will headline as she performs as a DJ, accompanied by a gala dinner under the stars, handcrafted cocktails and free-flowing champagne. The festival is positioned as a family-focused Easter experience, featuring a wide range of entertainment and headline performances.
Headline Acts including The Pussy Cat Dolls’ Ashley Roberts
A central highlight of the event will be DJ performances by Ashley Roberts, an American singer, dancer and television personality known for her role in the global pop group 'The Pussycat Dolls'. Gaining prominence in the mid2000s, she contributed to chart-topping songs such as "Don't Cha" and "Buttons", and will bring her performance style and energy to the island setting. Ashley Roberts will perform an afternoon DJ set designed for families, followed by a second appearance during the Gala Beach Dinner Party in the evening.
Easter Family Activities
The Easter celebrations will extend beyond the main festival day, with a curated programme of activities scheduled throughout the weekend. InterContinental Maldives’ Planet Trekkers programme, designed for children aged 4-12, will introduce the marine environment of the Indian Ocean through creative sessions and exploratory activities. These include treasure hunts, pizza-making classes and Easter-themed crafts.
The resort’s Teen Programme will also be active during the period, offering culinary sessions, boho body art, lagoon-based water activities, private outdoor movie screenings, football matches, mocktail-making classes and a range of spa treatments tailored specifically for teenagers.
Adults will have access to wellness experiences, including Shirodhara treatments at the overwater AVI spa and sound healing sessions. Families can also explore the island through cycling, island-hopping excursions, dolphin-watching trips and snorkelling on the house reef. Accommodation options include villas and residences designed for families, featuring private plunge pools, spacious gardens and direct beach access.
Culinary Delights and Egg-cellent Chef’s Table Experiences
Seachella will feature a Street Food Village offering oysters, Surf & Turf sliders and festival fries, alongside a popcorn and candy floss station, complemented by beverages from the Champagne trolley and Seachella Cocktail Lab. In the lead-up to the event, guests can experience the ‘Egg-cellent Chef’s Table’, where chefs present four courses centred on the Easter egg, each highlighting the ingredient in a different way.
The festival will conclude with a grand Easter gala beach dinner, accompanied by ocean views and DJ performances by Ashley Roberts. Rates start from USD 1,445++ per night for an Overwater Pool Villa, including breakfast and dinner for two. Two-Bedroom Family Villas are available from USD 3,655++ per night, also including breakfast and dinner.
