This Easter, Siyam World Maldives, part of Sun Siyam’s Lifestyle Collection, is transforming into the World of Oz from March 31 to April 17, 2026, welcoming three international football legends to the island. Massimo Ambrosini, Javier Saviola and Gary Cahill will lead exclusive football camps throughout April, offering young players and fans an opportunity to develop their skills in a resort setting.
Beyond the football programme, the Easter celebrations invite guests to immerse themselves in a themed island experience inspired by the World of Oz. A range of activities, including live performances, races, family-friendly carnivals and adventure-based experiences, will take place across the resort.
The programme opens with Dorothy’s Arrival, a sunset gathering at Together Beach featuring illuminated décor, music and the introduction to the themed journey. Guests are then encouraged to explore the island by following the Yellow Brick Road, encountering various activities and surprises throughout their stay. A central highlight is the Journey to the Emerald City Stage Show, which incorporates dance, aerial performances, fire displays and visual effects designed to reflect the Oz theme.
Younger guests can take part in the Wizard’s Kidz Carnival, offering games, face painting and character interactions. Meanwhile, participants seeking a more active experience can join The Amazing Race – Wizard of Siyam Edition, which features a series of challenges inspired by themes of brains, heart and courage. The SW 3K Easter Run is also scheduled, incorporating interactive elements such as bubble tunnels and mist features.
The football camps are scheduled as follows:
- Massimo Ambrosini Football Camp (2–4 April), led by the former AC Milan midfielder known for his leadership and tactical approach.
- Javier Saviola Football Camp (5–10 April), hosted by the Argentine forward recognised for speed and attacking creativity.
- Gary Cahill Football Camp (13–17 April), conducted by the former England international and Chelsea captain noted for defensive capability and leadership.
Combining football training, themed storytelling and recreational activities, the World of Oz programme at Siyam World Maldives presents a multi-faceted Easter offering designed for both families and sports enthusiasts.
