The event offers wine enthusiasts and gastronomy lovers an exceptional evening pairing premium Italian wines with refined cuisine against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean’s turquoise waters.
The dinner pays tribute to Mastroberardino, a storied Italian winemaking family with roots stretching back to the mid-18th century. Celebrated for its dedication to preserving and elevating native Campania grape varieties, the estate has gained international recognition under the leadership of Piero Mastroberardino, the tenth-generation winemaker. Key varietals championed by the family include Greco, Fiano, and Aglianico, with the prestigious Taurasi DOCG standing as a flagship achievement.
Executive Chef Frank has designed a bespoke multi-course menu to complement a carefully selected lineup of Mastroberardino wines. The progression begins with elegant Greco di Tufo DOCG and Fiano di Avellino DOCG, moves to the refined Lacrimarosa Rosato, reaches its peak with the iconic Radici Taurasi DOCG, and concludes with a rich dessert course matched to Melizie Fiano Passito.
