Kandolhu Maldives has unveiled its festive programme for the 2025 holiday season, running from 19th December through the New Year. The lineup is designed to provide a special blend of luxury, relaxation, and celebratory events for guests.
A series of themed dining experiences will be a central feature. Culinary highlights encompass "Taste of the Sea" seafood nights and "Lobster & Sparkling Wine" evenings at Sea Grill. The Market restaurant will host an Indian Thali experience and a pan-Asian evening, while Olive will offer a "Chapoutier Uncorked" wine journey, featuring selections from the Rhône Valley and M. Chapoutier's European estates. A hands-on Ceviche Masterclass will also be held at Ata Roa, where participants will learn to craft the perfect Pisco Sour.
The Christmas Eve celebration will include a cocktail party followed by a magical Gala Dinner on the beach, presenting a global array of festive dishes and succulent meat and fish options with all the trimmings. On Christmas Day, a merry Beachside Buffet under the stars will take place at Vilu Bar.
To welcome 2026, an elegant New Year's Eve is planned, commencing with cocktails before a six-course Gala Degustation Dinner. The evening will continue with live music and a DJ for a stylish countdown. A special late breakfast on New Year’s Day will provide a relaxed start to the year.
For adventure and wellness, the Noovilu sports centre will provide guided snorkelling with Manta Rays, sunset kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. Varu Spa will serve as a relaxation sanctuary, offering bespoke treatments such as the "Rose Indulgent Scrub," a "Muscle Boost" deep tissue massage, and the "Varu Haven" couples' journey.
Cultural activities include a DIY Christmas decoration workshop using palm leaves and a traditional Maldivian Boduberu drum and dance performance. With this combination of elegant events, engaging activities, and world-class dining, Kandolhu Maldives aims to deliver a spectacular holiday escape.
