Amilla Maldives will welcome three Visiting Practitioners who are set to guide guests through personalised wellness experiences designed to restore balance and enhance overall wellbeing in the resort’s calming island atmosphere. Each practitioner will offer private sessions and complimentary group activities, allowing guests to reconnect with themselves through mindful, therapeutic practices.
Until 7 December 2025, Kattia Mendoza, founder of Unmasking Arts™ and KI·OM® Bodywork, will lead a programme focused on somatic movement, breathwork, and body-based healing. Her private offerings, including KI·OM® Bodywork, Nervous System Release, and Osteo-Thai Massage, will aim to relieve tension and improve mobility. Guests will also be able to take part in her group activities such as Somatic Breath Meditation and the Unmasking Arts™ Circle, both created to encourage emotional awareness and meaningful connection.
From 10 December 2025 to 20 January 2026, the resort will host Jang Kanlayanee, who brings more than 25 years of experience across Thai, Ayurvedic, and Western wellness therapies. Her treatments, such as Chi Nei Tsang, Body Alignment Massage, Face and Neck Therapy, Reiki, and sound healing, will focus on restoring harmony and energetic balance. The schedule will also include group or complimentary sessions like Tai Chi, Sound Bath, Chakra Energy Assessment, and private yoga classes.
During the same winter period, from 20 December 2025 to 20 January 2026, Dr. Shreejit Ghadigaonkar, an Ayurvedic doctor and yoga specialist from India, will conduct one-on-one consultations and offer traditional therapies aimed at enhancing vitality and overall wellbeing. His complimentary wellness sessions will provide advice on stress management, sleep improvement, and aligning daily habits with natural bodily rhythms, leaving guests with practical tools for long-term balance.
Throughout their residencies, Kattia, Jang, and Dr. Shreejit will invite visitors to slow their pace, reconnect with themselves, and explore restorative techniques that uplift the body, mind, and spirit in harmony with the serene rhythm of island life.
