Kandooma Maldives Offers Unique Float & Flow Yoga Experience

Holiday Inn introduces SUP-based yoga for guests seeking balance and mindfulness on water

At Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives, yoga takes on a refreshing twist with its latest wellness activity"”Float & Flow Yoga. Set amid the calm, clear waters of the Maldives, this unique session takes place on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), offering a tranquil yet energizing connection to nature.

Whether you're new to yoga or a longtime practitioner, Float & Flow Yoga caters to all skill levels. Each 60-minute session takes place on the SUP Yoga Dock, a specially designed floating platform shaped like a flower. Eight SUP boards are anchored to its "petals," surrounding a central area where the instructor leads the class through a calming series of movements focused on breath, balance, and flow.

Resident instructor Courtney Chambers describes the experience as liberating and light-hearted: "There's nothing quite like the laughter and pure joy of SUP yoga. Being on the water reminds us to let go, have fun, and move with nature."

Sessions run four times a week"”Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 10:00 am"”and are kept intimate, with only eight participants per class. A minimum of three guests is required for the class to proceed. The fee is US$45 per person, which includes all taxes and service charges.

Guests also have the option to enhance their experience with a drone photo and video package for an additional US$25, providing a memorable keepsake of the serene surroundings and yoga practice.

Participants should arrive 10 minutes early at the Perfect Wave Surf Shop for a short briefing and are advised to wear comfortable swimwear or yoga attire.

Float & Flow Yoga at Kandooma is an ideal blend of wellness and enjoyment"”perfect for those looking to rediscover peace, playfulness, and a deep connection to the ocean.
