Maafaru International Airport, managed by Island Aviation Services Limited, showcased impressive performance in 2024, despite a temporary closure from June to September for a runway expansion project.
The year concluded on a high note, with December witnessing 98 private jet movements, underscoring the airport’s pivotal role as a gateway for luxury travelers visiting the Maldives. Situated in Noonu Atoll, the airport's strategic location and exceptional facilities cater to high-net-worth individuals seeking seamless access to the region’s world-renowned luxury resorts.
