Dhiraagu has been announced as the Title Partner of the Dhivehi Premier League, the Maldives’ premier football competition that brings together the nation’s top clubs and athletes. Recognised as the country’s highest-level football tournament, the league continues to showcase the best of Maldivian football.
Organised by the Football Association of Maldives (FAM), the 2025–2026 Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League is scheduled to run from 18 September 2025 to 5 February 2026 at the National Football Stadium, Galolhu Rasmee Dhandu. The competition will feature ten leading football clubs, including Maziya Sports & Recreation, Club Valencia, Victory Sports Club, New Radiant Sports Club, United Victory, Club Eagles, TC Sports Club, Buru Sports Club, Club Green Streets, and Odi Sports Club.
Ali Riyaz, Chief Commercial Officer at Dhiraagu, expressed pride in supporting the league, stating, “We are proud to support the Dhivehi Premier League, the most prestigious football tournament in the Maldives. Football has always been the nation’s most loved sport and plays a crucial role in bringing communities together. As such, we remain committed to supporting the league to uplift the football scene in the Maldives and help develop the next generation of players.”
