Ooredoo Nation’s MLBB Clash Celebrates Filipino Independence in Maldives

Ooredoo Maldives recently wrapped up a vibrant Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament, the Ooredoo Nation MLBB Community Clash, held in collaboration with the Filipino’s in Maldives Basketball Association (FIMBA) to mark Philippine Independence Day. The event drew over 150 Filipino community members, blending cultural festivities, engaging giveaways, and intense esports competition. More than 70 players formed 12 teams, battling it out for the top prizes. Thursday Club clinched the championship, earning MVR 7,500 and a complimentary 5G AirFibre connection for each team member. The Warriors PH took second place with MVR 4,500, while Maligno secured third, receiving MVR 3,000. Beyond the competitive gaming, the event fostered unity and celebrated the talent and cultural pride of the Filipino community in the Maldives. Ooredoo expressed pride in leveraging technology and esports to bring diverse communities together for this memorable occasion.
