A new initiative, the 'Vunaari Forum,' has been introduced to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the tourism industry across the Maldives. This platform aims to equip businesses with vital skills, legal knowledge, and opportunities for market expansion.

The forum, organized in collaboration with the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) and the South Ari Atoll Council, focuses on improving business capabilities through sessions led by experts. Key topics addressed include legal compliance, access to finance, entrepreneurship, marketing strategies, tax regulations, and emerging trends in the tourism sector.

Held at the Atoll Education Centre in Alif Dhaalu Mahibadhoo, the event featured presentations from the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), Maldives Islamic Bank, Bank of Maldives, and the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA).
