Ooredoo Nation has partnered with the Maldives E-Sporting Association as the Title Sponsor of the PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) Maldives, the country's premier esports competition that brings together the nation's leading PUBG MOBILE players to compete for a place in the regional and global championship stages.
Organised locally by the Maldives E-Sporting Association under the direction of Tencent Games, the PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) Maldives serves as the country's official qualification tournament and marks the first stage of the "Road to PMGC." The competition provides Maldivian teams with the opportunity to qualify for the regional championship and ultimately secure a place at the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), the world's most prestigious official PUBG MOBILE esports tournament.
The tournament is being held across three competitive stages. It began with the In-Game Qualifier Stage 2 (Online), which took place from 24th to 26th July, followed by the National Knockouts – Survivors Circle (Online), scheduled from 3rd to 7th August. The competition will conclude with the LAN National Finals from 13th to 15th August, where the country's top teams will compete for the national title.
