Ooredoo Maldives has launched an engaging digital extension of the 2025 Mas Race, bringing the excitement of the fishing competition to enthusiasts across the nation through the Ooredoo App. Available until 11:59 p.m. on September 3, 2025, the Mas Race Digital Game allows players to participate in the thrill of the event from anywhere, complementing the traditional Mas Race activities. This innovative initiative makes the beloved fishing tradition accessible to a broader audience, blending cultural celebration with modern technology.

The digital game mirrors the excitement of Mas Race 2025, featuring real teams competing in the event. Players select their preferred team and tap to catch fish, earning one point per catch to climb the leaderboard. The straightforward yet captivating gameplay encourages participants to accumulate points throughout the competition period. Top performers have a chance to win premium fishing gear from Hai Fishing Tackles, the Maldives’ premier fishing tackle retailer. The first-place winner will receive a Daiwa Saltiga 2025 Reel, while second and third-place winners will each claim a PIO Ultimate Sea Spirit/Gangster (H/D) Rod.

Hai Fishing Tackles, known for offering high-quality gear from global brands such as Daiwa, Penn, Abu Garcia, Yo-Zuri, Zenaq, Jigging Master, Okuma, and Pioneer, continues to serve the Maldives’ angling community. Their house brand, Rankaru, has gained popularity among local fishers, and an upcoming Rankaru e-catalog will feature a wide range of products for fishing enthusiasts.
