Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) 2025 made history as the largest gaming event ever hosted in the Maldives, attracting more than 1,500 registered players from across the nation, including participants from remote islands and atolls. Held in Malé, the event brought together the country’s gaming community in an unprecedented live competition format, with four major game titles played simultaneously on-site through Dhiraagu’s robust network infrastructure.
For the first time in the Maldives, over 150 gamers competed concurrently on fully online servers, showcasing Dhiraagu’s cutting-edge 5G capabilities and high-performance connectivity. This technical achievement established DMGC 2025 as a major milestone for local esports, setting a new standard for multi-title live tournaments in the country.
The success of the event was made possible by the support of several key partners. MINISO joined as the Premium Partner, with Sheesha, Peekaboo, Megachip, and Villa Mart as Elite Partners.
