Ooredoo Maldives and the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) have forged a strategic partnership to promote the Maldives as a leading travel destination to Ooredoo’s 147 million customers across nine countries. The agreement, signed on May 7, 2025, by Khalid Al-Hamadi, CEO & Managing Director of Ooredoo Maldives, and Shiuree Ibrahim, CEO and Managing Director of MMPRC, at Ooredoo Headquarters in Hulhumale, aims to amplify the "Visit Maldives" brand through Ooredoo’s extensive global network.

This collaboration leverages Ooredoo’s presence in Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa to support MMPRC’s international marketing efforts. By tapping into Ooredoo’s platforms and regional influence, the partnership seeks to showcase the Maldives’ unparalleled beauty, rich culture, and warm hospitality to a broader audience.
